Blount and Dixon are both pounders. One of those two won't make it, but even if they were on the practice squad tackling backs like them will make the "D" better.

also i just looked at the active rosters for the Bears, Colts, and Packers and they all carry 4 backs. The Bears carry 4 running backs and 2 full backs.

looks like the 49ers won't have to worry about the decision now since Blount decided to sign with Titans instead of 49ers...smart move by him in my opinion...but yea it doesnt surprise me that some teams carry 4..but at the same time it would surprise me that they would carry 4 guys who could all be your starter based off potential (seems like a lot of competition and fighting for carries)...sometimes that is good most of the times its bad

I don't think Glenn Coffee, L Blount, or Anthony Dixon could be an every week starter. Also, I don't see how competition could possibly be a bad thing? Only LT bitches when he doesn't get the ball.

do i think they could immediately ? not necessarily...but for sure i think each of them have the potential in couple of years if in the right position...and more players than just LT have been unhappy when the don't get the ball or get PT

i at the very least think each of those guys can be really good in a 2 rb system..which is almost every team now
